You’re too early for the market – so what
20:08
So you are a bit earlier may be startup, or whatever the project
deeply you need to undertake is very much important than that. May be its a gift to humanity. When Gutenberg built his own movable printing type
press around 1440 the market somewhat looked like is:
- Nearly 7% of the population in Europe can read.
- Glasses for reading have not been invented yet. Means they couldn't reach that small.
- There were no public libraries that time.
- Schools for the people doesn't exist yet.
- There were no bookshops at all.
Maybe he should have been waited for Amazon to come
along...He did it anyway.
When Karl Benz built his first combustion engine car around
1882 then the market looked like this:
- No one knows how to drive a car..means an automobile..since they were not invented yet.
- It was illegal to drive a car.
- There were no roads and it was slower than a horse also it was many thousands of times more expensive than the horse.
May be Benz Should have been waited for the Autobahns to be
built..He also did it anyway.
Finally, we can focus on the market which we want to be developed. Build them
houses, Sell them the packed food and also provide entertainment where the good
fellow wins, or else we can do a project for ourselves. We might just make
something really the market wants.
